According to the Saudi media, a doctor of a government hospital in the capital Riyadh was ordered to pay death due to the death of the patient.
The lawyer of the deceased person’s heirs said in the statement that this tragic accident happened due to the doctor’s mistake. The medical committee of the court had recommended the payment of dowry.
According to media reports, the doctor sent the person suffering from heart disease home without a complete medical examination, declaring him healthy and giving him painkillers. Immediately after reaching home, the patient died due to severe pain.
The court ordered the doctor to pay the dowry after the medical committee’s evaluation report found the doctor to be at fault.
