KARACHI: Pakistan team’s test tour made Australia happy while around 350,000 spectators visited the stadiums during the three matches.
Pakistan cricket team did not win during the recent tour of Australia, but the Australian fans were very happy with these competitions. During the new air test played in Sydney, a large number of spectators turned to the stadium, a total of one lakh on the four days of the match 25,292 spectators turned up at the stadium to bid farewell to David Warner from Test cricket, the largest attendance at the venue since the series against India in 2018-19.
About 5 million viewers watched this match on TV in Australia alone, while 1.4 million viewers were watching this match on TV even during the winning runs.
A total of 350,000 spectators visited the stadiums during the three Test matches, with the highest number of 164,835 spectators present at the Mableburn Cricket Ground.
The McGraw Foundation also raised $6.44 million in funds during the Pink Test played in Sydney.
Cricket Australia Chief Executive Nick Hockley says that the home Test series against Pakistan proved to be a huge success, with millions of fans flocking to the stadium, proof that Test cricket is still popular in Australia, with all generations of fans from this series. Enjoyed it.
