Rawalpindi: Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi was arrested in the GHQ attack case soon after his release from Adiala Jail.
Rawalpindi Police arrested Shah Mehmood Qureshi in GHQ attack case. A heavy contingent of police took Shah Mehmood Qureshi from Adiala Jail and shifted him to an unknown location.
Police sources say that the case against Shah Mehmood Qureshi for the attack on GHQ in the May 9 tragedy has been registered in the RA Bazar police station. The PTI leader will be produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court today or tomorrow and remanded.
Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema also canceled the detention orders of Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The police officials requested the DC Rawalpindi to cancel the detention orders of Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Earlier, the police said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi was detained under 3 MPO, after necessary action Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be brought back to Adiala Jail.
While standing on the armored vehicle, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that I was released on bail by the Supreme Court but this is cruelty, I am being punished for serving the nation.
Reacting to the arrest of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is an important member of our party and the matter of his arrest should be looked into by the Supreme Court. Therefore, it is important not to make arrests.
Chairman PTI said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi was arrested several times before and now there is no scope for 3 MPO, 3 MPO is a violation of fundamental rights, MPO is issued because new He should be detained until the case is made, the judiciary is requested to ensure the safety of the people.
It should be noted that yesterday the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi had issued a notification to detain Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Adiala Jail.
